Smut4Smut 2020 Creator Letter

First of all, thanks for writing for me! I’m really excited to read whatever gift you give me! I’m gonna use this letter to provide specific details on the pairings I requested and a few potential prompts for you to work with, if you want.

Fandoms & Pairings
1917- Joseph Blake/William Schofield
Okay, so I walked out of this movie with my heart shattered into a million pieces and the reason I requested these two as the ship for this fandom is because, despite them having all of two minutes of screentime together, their meeting is an accident that is also an absolute tragedy for both of them. My mind immediately went to work on how the two of them would be woven into each other's lives afterward. There's a lot of tragic romantic potential, which is why I included the tags I did. I realize writing this pairing could lead to a longer fic, with some build up and potential slow burn, which I would absolutely adore, but don't feel like you have to do that. I would honestly love anything with the two of them. The only request is that I would prefer there to be no previous Tom Blake/William Schofield.
Prompts/Ideas
As stated above, I am 100% game for some really tragic and/or hurt/comfort sex. I would prefer no modern AUs so dealing with period typical attitudes towards homosexuality (especially in Britain) is kind of a must (even in some small way), though it doesn't need to be the focus. Figuring out feelings and staying in each other's lives post-WWI would be excellent (Joseph showing William the family's cherry trees, meeting each other's families, figuring out how to move on together). I would also be interested in them striking up a relationship while the war is ongoing and how they could make that work. Delving into the angst of starting a relationship that's essentially founded on the death of someone close to both of them and how that colors their view of said relationship and the strength of its foundation is something I am super interested in. I am pretty open to any interpretation, but angst of some kind really needs to be present.
Pilgrimage- Brother Diarmuid/The Mute
There's a lot going on between these two and I love all of it. The age gap, the devotion, the protectiveness, the tension, tenderness, the angst - it's all great. I don't really want underage, but going from the timeline of the movie, they're both consenting adults so if you want to avoid anything pre-movie, that's fine by me. Though the ending is kind of ambiguous, I'd prefer for it to be confirmed that The Mute manages to make it out alive. Since religion is such a big part of the storyline and the characters, I'd appreciate including references to it; whether that comes in the form of both of them internally grappling with it, discussing it together (if the story is post-canon, I would be okay with having The Mute break his vow, but I'll leave that up to you), figuring out how to forge ahead with/without it. I'm also a big fan of bringing faith and religion into the sex; it factors so much into their lives already, why not that part too? Anyway, tender love and sex + religion and shame and pining = perfect fic.
Prompts/Ideas
I would really love something post-canon with the two of them figuring out a new life together. Dealing with their feelings for one another and I feel like, initially, shame would factor in somehow (desires, breaking vows, not being good enough). I including this in the tags, but Diarmuid is definitely a virgin and well, that could be a big factor in their burgeoning sexual relationship. Invoking God/heaven/divinity in their relationship is a big plus. But overall, I feel like their relationship, especially after the events of the film, would be one of tenderness and devotion and love; seeing this explored through their sexual relationship would be absolutely perfect.
Knives Out- Marta Cabrera/Benoit Blanc
The chemistry between these two was too much for me to handle and I absolutely adored all their interactions in the film - especially whenever Benoit came to Marta's defense; he was the only one who seemed to be on her side the whole time. Honestly, these two just deserve good things and Benoit giving Marta the same love and tenderness in the bedroom is A+.
Prompts/Ideas
Post-canon is also preferable for this, with Marta either dealing with nasty Thrombey retaliation and/or enjoying the newfound security in her life. Maybe the two of them come back together via a new case? Or Benoit finds excuses to visit her. I'd also really love to see him bring out the southern gentleman charm through a thorough courtship (bonus points if Marta's oblivious). Maybe there's some angst over the age difference, but you can also skip that aspect completely. Having Benoit obviously moonstruck by Marta and bending over backwards for her (including in the bedroom) would be excellent.
